Well yes, and no, one type of palo santo called Bulnesia sarmientoi is endangered and over forested however the kind I sell is not. Much of the confusion about Palo Santo may arise from the fact that there are actually two South American trees called Palo Santo, and they are both frequently enjoyed for their fragrances.
Although these trees share the name Palo Santo (the name translates from Spanish as “Sacred Wood,” an allusion to the incense commonly burned at Catholic mass), they are two totally different species that grow in different parts of this vast Spanish-speaking region.
One of these species, a mahogany-like tree known to botanists as Bulnesia sarmientoi, actually is threatened with over-exploitation … but not the one we sell (Bursera graveolens).

HOW TO USE OUR PRODUCTS

Intention Candles:
Light the wick and take a moment to set your intention. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface, releasing its full scent and energy. Return to your affirmation each time you light your candle, using the flame as a grounding point for presence and reflection.

Massage a small amount onto clean, dry skin, warming the product between your hands before applying. Let the botanicals absorb fully, supporting daily nourishment and restoration. Best enjoyed after bathing or as part of an evening wind-down ritual.
CANDLE BURNING SAFETY
To preserve the beauty and logevity of your candle we suggest:
1. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn
2. First burn matters: Allow the wax pool to reach the edges before extinguishing to prevent tunneling
3. Burn Time: Enjoy in 2-4 hr sessions for an even, lasting flame.
4. Placement: Keep on a heat resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.
5. Completion: Discontinue use when 1/4 in. wax remains at bottom of vessel.
6. Reward: Dont forget to scoop out your intention charged gemstone , wash off with warm water & soap, & add to your collection!
