I’ve always been extremely sensitive. To products, to scent, to energy, to my environment. My skin would react to almost everything. Rashes, irritation, constant trial and error trying to find things that didn’t make it worse. It was frustrating and exhausting, and for a long time I felt like I couldn’t fully trust anything I was using.
At the same time, my mind has always been very active. I’ve struggled with OCD tendencies and feeling overwhelmed in my own thoughts. I needed something that helped me slow down, feel grounded, and come back to myself.
That’s where ritual came in.
Not in a complicated or performative way, but in simple, everyday moments. Lighting a candle at night. Taking a breath. Creating a space that felt calm, safe, and intentional. I started paying attention to what actually felt good to be around. What didn’t trigger my skin. What didn’t overwhelm my senses. What made me feel more like myself again.
I started making candles as a healing ritual for myself. Something personal. Something I could control. Something I could trust. Then I began making them for friends, and it naturally grew from there.
Once I started creating, the ideas didn’t stop. The combinations, the scents, the intentions behind each one. I became deeply focused on getting everything right. The way it smelled, the way it felt, what it represented. At the same time, I felt this excitement I couldn’t ignore. I knew I had to keep going.
I got my business license the day I turned 18 and never looked back.
Devine Flame grew from that place. It wasn’t created as a business first. It came from a real need, and it still carries that same intention.
Everything I make is rooted in that. Clean, non-toxic ingredients. Thoughtful materials. Nothing added without purpose. I’m extremely particular about what goes into each product because I know what it feels like to react to everything and not trust what you’re using.
But it’s more than just what’s inside the product. It’s how you live with it.
Lighting a candle becomes an energetic reset. Warming body butter becomes a moment to slow down and reconnect with your body. These small rituals shift how a space feels, and over time, they shift you too.
What we surround ourselves with matters. What we return to every day matters even more.
This brand has helped me more than I can explain. And seeing it become something that helps other people come back to themselves, even in small moments, means everything to me.
I plan on taking Devine Flame far. Expanding into new offerings, more experiences, and thoughtful collaborations. Creating not just products, but a lifestyle rooted in intention.
I still make everything slowly and by hand. Nothing rushed. Nothing mass produced. I’m involved in every step because I want what you receive to feel intentional, safe, and real. Something you can trust. Something you actually feel good about bringing into your space.
